Micro-Environment Control System (MECS) - precision air management system

Advanced air handling unit that creates precise micro-climates for sensitive pharmaceutical and medical device applications.

Temperatures from 15°C to 45°C and humidities from 30% to 98% relative humidity can be pre-set on the Micro-Environment Control System to provide temperature and humidity controlled air for spot process applications.

Accuracy is within ±1%rh and ±0.1°C – a level which until now has been unachievable on a consistent basis. Air volumes are adjustable from 110 litres per second to 200 litres per second.

This precise controllability makes MECS an ideal research tool for establishing optimum environmental conditions for new, critical production processes. Once these conditions have been found, MECS can be custom-designed in process specific versions to help maintain maximum product yields.

MECS has increased productivity in some applications from 36% of throughput to almost 100% by dramatically reducing wastage due to poor environmental conditions.
